Prayer Requests – Here are some prayer requests that came through the church office:
- Carlie Jones’ sister, Ellen, had a heart attack;
- Nephew of the Jones’, Ed who is 40, will be having surgery due to some complication with his diabetes
- Carlie Jones’ sister-in-law, Winnie, is having difficulty with her legs
- Pat Wall (former member of Oak Lawn First) will be having brain surgery
Prayer Request – Caroline Schahrer called and asked for prayer for her daughter in law, Jodie. She had a double mastectomy several weeks ago and went for her first chemotherapy treatment on Monday. She developed a fever and they determined that the port for the chemotherapy medication was infected. They treated her with an intravenous antibiotic and she had a reaction to the antibiotic. She still has a fever and is going back to the doctor because of the fever. 02/11/2012
Prayer Request- A good friend of mine and her family (husband, son and daughter) are struggling under severe persecution and pressures from the enemy (Satan), which has infiltrated their home. They are not attending any church right now (but have attended church in the past). Like I said, these pressures are severe. My friend knows the Lord will provide. They need a church family to support them. I told her I would pass this need on to my church family – both the prayer chain and Esther Prayer and Share.
